DURAK Poly-Strong PC UV® is a special sewing thread produced by providing UV resistance to cotton-covered polyester sewing threads. It protects the thread against negative effects caused by UV rays such as reduced thread strength, decreased abrasion resistance, and color fading. These adverse effects are generally referred to as “UV degradation.” DURAK Poly-Strong PC UV® minimizes this degradation. It is an excellent sewing thread with high resistance to abrasion in high-speed sewing applications. With its high strength, bright colors, wide range of thickness options, and superior performance features, it caters to a wide variety of applications.
