Durabond P UV® is produced by bonding the plies of 100% continuous filament polyester threads using environmentally friendly, special production processes. It protects the thread against the negative effects of UV rays such as loss of tensile strength, reduced abrasion resistance, and color fading. These effects are commonly referred to as “UV degradation.” Durabond P UV® minimizes this degradation. It is a high-performance sewing thread that offers excellent resistance to abrasion, even in high-speed sewing operations.
